Stephen Barnett is a partner at Arrow Partnership where he is an expert in strategic planning, sales and marketing, new product and service development, resource/career development planning and infrastructure cost reduction.
Jeff Belair is a partner in the tax service area of EKS&H and has been involved in public accounting for more than 10 years. Jeff helps lead the wealth advisory service practice where he helps individuals, including corporate executives and owners and operators of closely-held businesses build, preserve, and maximize their wealth by providing comprehensive solutions that consider the complex aspects of wealth accumulation and its impact on both family and business.
Warren Henson is Chairman of the the Economic Club of Colorado’s board. Warren has made a career in investment banking for 28 years, working with two boutique firms and on Wall Street. Warren specializes in mergers and acquisitions, and has been the lead banker on M&A transactions of approximately $1.2 billion in aggregate value. In addition to serving on the board to the Economic Club of Colorado, Warren is a Director of the Denver Botanic Gardens Endowment and Chairman of the Investment Committee, and is currently Chair of the Annual Fundraising Luncheon for the Girls Athletic Leadership School (GALS).
Brad Kott is a Managing Director in research sales at Evercore ISI. Brad has over 15 years experience working in sales and trading. Prior to joining Evercore ISI he was at Heartland Securities as a trader and had a small stint at UBS Private Client in Sydney Australia. Mr. Kott holds a B.A. from Lafayette College and is a CFA charterholder.
An accomplished senior executive and market leader, Stew Lawrence brings over 16 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, business development, and enterprise management in the consumer packaged goods and energy related fields. Stew leads with a strategic and creative focus, while maintaining a “roll up your sleeves”, operationally minded approach.
Marc Musyl is a partner at Greenburg Traurig, LLC and has over 3o years of experience representing public and private business clientsin a wide variety of matters including capitalization, financings, corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions and the like. In addition to serving on the board of the Economic Club of Colorado, Marc has served on the Board of Trustees of the Colorado Ballet.
Brian is a financial planner at Robert W. Baird. Before joining Baird, Brian worked in New York City as an Internal Investment Specialist for Allianz Global Investors. His responsibilities included marketing, service and sales of mutual funds and separately managed accounts for Allianz’s premier group of investment managers, which include PIMCO, NFJ Investment Group and RCM Capital Management.
Jack Robinson began his career in the financial services industry in 1983. As an investment professional for over 30 years, Jack focuses on investment policy and comprehensive financial consulting. In addition to serving on the Board of the Economic Club of Colorado, Jack serves on the National Capital Campaign for the University of Virginia and is the past Chairman of the Endowment Advisory Committee at Colorado Academy.
Gregory Smith is the Exexutive Director of Colorado PERA, which provides retirement and other benefits for more than 500,000 current and retired Colorado employees. Greg joined PERA in Feburary 2002 as General Counsel and served as Chief Operating Officer prior to being named the Executive Director in 2012. Under Greg’s leadership and direction, PERA remains a national leader on retirement security issues.
Minyoung Sohn is a Partner at Arrowpoint Partners and Portfolio Manager of Meridian Equity Income Fund. Minyoung previously served as Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Janus Capital, managing $10 billion for the Janus Growth & Income Fund (2004-2007) and the Janus Fundamental Equity Fund (2005-2007). Minyoung joined Janus Capital in 1998 as an equity analyst covering a broad range of sectors and was appointed Assistant Portfolio Manager in 2004. Minyoung graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in Government and Economics, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Gib Watson is Vice Chairman of Envestnet where his responsibilities include working with the firm’s Envestnet/PMC investment advisory services division and for driving growth for Envestnet/Retirement Solutions. In addition to his involvement with the Economic Club of Colorado, Gib has helped found the Denver Chapter of Golfers Against Cancer in 2009 and remains active in fund raising for the local cancer research for the organization.
Courtney Kanouff is the Executive Director for the Economic Club of Colorado (ECC). Before joining ECC, Courtney practiced corporate and securities law at two large, national firms: Squire Patton Boggs and Holme Roberts and Owen.
